Refund, Return, and Cancellation Policy

This policy governs the cancellation, replacement, and refund process for all orders placed on DigiGadget.in. By completing a purchase, you agree to these terms.

📦 MANDATORY UNBOXING VIDEO: To claim a refund or replacement for "Damaged on Arrival" or "Wrong Product," customers MUST provide a continuous, unedited unboxing video from seal-breaking to power-on. Claims without this video will not be entertained.

1. Shipping & Delivery Timelines

Pan-India Shipping:
  • Cut-off: Orders placed before 11:30 AM IST on a business day ship the same day. All others ship the next business day.
  • Transit: Typically 3 to 4 business days (Monday-Friday).
Same-Day Delivery (Bengaluru Only):
  • Cut-off: Orders must be placed before 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday.
  • Delivery Window: Between 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on the same date.
  • Fee: An additional charge of Rs. 100/- applies.
  • No Deliveries on Saturdays, Sundays, or National Holidays for this service.

2. Order Cancellation Policy

  • Before Dispatch: You may cancel an order before it is shipped. A processing fee of 2.5% (plus applicable taxes) will be deducted from the refund. This fee is only waived if DigiGadget cannot fulfill the order due to stock issues.
  • 7-Day Dispute Window: Any cancellation or dispute requests made later than 7 working days from the date of purchase will not be entertained.
  • After Dispatch: Orders already in transit cannot be cancelled.

3. Return & Replacement Eligibility

DigiGadget operates on a replacement-first policy. Refunds are issued only if a suitable replacement is unavailable.

Eligible Scenarios for Replacement:

  • Damaged or Faulty Product: Verified hardware defects (requires unboxing video).
  • Wrong Product: Item delivered does not match the order description.

Non-Eligible Scenarios:

  • Buyer's remorse or "change of mind."
  • Minor cosmetic wear on Refurbished/Pre-Owned items.
  • Physical damage or liquid damage caused by the customer.
  • Improper installation of electronic components.

4. Warranty by Condition

  • New Sealed Box: Covered by the brand's manufacturer warranty.
  • Open Box / Refurbished: Covered by DigiGadget Seller Warranty for the period stated on the product page. Warranty is void if the internal security seal is tampered with.

5. Refund Process

  • Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment source.
  • Courier charges for return shipments are non-refundable unless the return is due to a DigiGadget error.
